Electronic Music Pioneers Thievery Corporation To Pay Visit To Teen Internet Community Habbo Hotel

On March 15th at 4p.m. (7 p.m. EST), electronic music band Thievery Corporation will check into HABBO HOTEL (www.habbohotel.com), one of the world’s largest and hottest on-line destinations for teenagers, for an exclusive interactive visit with Habbo members

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 10, 2006 -- On March 15th at 4 p.m. (7 p.m. EST), electronic music band Thievery Corporation will check into HABBO HOTEL (www.habbohotel.com), one of the world’s largest and hottest on-line destinations for teenagers, for an exclusive interactive visit with Habbo members. The band will discuss their unique, mind-altering sounds and talk about their highly anticipated new remix album, Versions, which will be released on May 16.

Using their specially created Habbo characters, Thievery Corporation’s Rob Garza and Eric Hilton will check into HABBO HOTEL for an interview on the dnD Power Hour, hosted by dubya and Dileas. The interview will be broadcast live over Habbo’s exclusive Internet Radio Stream (www.dndpowerhour.com). The Band will also answer questions from Habbo members and hang out in the Hotel. Habbos will be able to click on a billboard in the hotel and listen to the band’s new AOL Music DJ Sessions: Mixed by Thievery Corporation that was released on February 20th.

Thievery Corporation’s new remix album, Versions, is the ultimate collection of remixes by the band. It includes 18 dubbed-out versions of songs by a diverse group of artists, including The Doors, Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, Astrud Gilberto, Nouvelle Vague, Anoushka Shankar, Transglobal Underground and many more.
