Achilles Medical, 220% Sales Growth in Second Year

New, internet-based sports medicine company, Achilles Medical, increased sales 220% in its second year.

Eagan, MN (PRWEB) March 12, 2006 -- Achilles Medical had a very successful second year (sales up 220%), and is looking forward to increasing sales again in 2006. In the first year the website went live, the brothers learned how to establish a successful internet-based business; how to promote their company name, improve search engine placement, set up pay-per-click advertising, and the definition of key terms, such as: keyword density, meta tags, web analytics, links, etc. To set Achilles Medical apart from their competition, they needed something special. Mike and Matt came up with three main guidelines to establish their presence on the internet.

Many orders received after 3:00 p.m. are also shipped. Mike and Matt have even been known to show up at UPS some days just before its 7:00 p.m. closing in order to get a few last products out that day. Their pricing remains competitive and doesn’t change every day like some sites. The only price change they’ve had in over two years, is a price reduction. All of the products have free ground shipping, so there are no hidden costs that pop up at checkout.

Third, they wanted people who visited the site to enjoy shopping on it. To accomplish this, a highly-ranked web development firm was hired to design the website. The goals for the website were: to have a professional appearance, to provide easy navigation, and to offer high-quality products. The shopping experience should to be easy, with no surprises at checkout. To the brothers at Achilles Medical, starting a new company, especially an internet-based company, has been exciting, challenging, rewarding, educational, and fun. The primary goals for 2006 are to take search engine optimization classes to improve ranking and increase sales again by another 220%.Although they plan on growing there business even further, having another stellar year with a 220% growth in sales doesn’t look too likely but they are going to try.
