Paul-Douglas Peart brings to you his first offering within the world of Poetry and independent publishing. Broken Voice Tones in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world’s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.

S.London, England (PRWEB) March 12, 2006 -- Paul-Douglas Peart brings to you his first offering within the world of Poetry and independent publishing. Broken Voice Tones in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world’s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books. Mr. Peart wrote Broken Voice Tones as a self-healing process whilst dealing with some of his own demons. Performing in various poetry and spoken word venues he realized there was a large proportion of society relating to both his words and experiences but had not the words to express it.

Broken Voice Tones is an in depth journey into the psyche of the misunderstood, forgotten, abused and ignored. Tales of struggles between men and women, Fathers and Sons and the inner self in a narrative and objective style are sprinkled throughout. Mr. Pearts’ descriptive depiction of the world we inhabit through his own personal experiences is if nothing else compelling and a definite eye opener.

He came to Lulu because he wanted to be in control of the publishing process and found Lulu’s print-on-demand tools to be fast, easy and, most importantly, free. Broken Voice Tones is available for purchase at www.lulu.com, in a marketplace filled with other unique and wonderful surprises.

About the Author:
Paul-Douglas is a twenty two year old writer and performer from South East London. He has toured most of England and parts of Europe as part of a now defunct Punk/Hip Hop Band called the Abandoned Babyz. When asked about the maturity of the issues raised in his work he replied; "I just write and speak on what I feel is relevant through my own experiences, things that I might have seen in a documentary or on the news or in a newspaper. I’m a newscaster I just pen what has already happened… From the 13 year old girl in suburbia whose parents have no idea she has already acquired an alcohol and drug habit and is sexually active to the 15 year old boy who feels he has to carry a gun or knife for protection just to go to the shop for his mum, or little Rebecca who wishes her dad would stop hitting her mum. I just try to be a mouth piece for those who are unable or too frightened to speak up."

About Lulu:
Founded in 2002, Lulu is the world’s fastest-growing print-on-demand marketplace for digital do-it-yourselfers.
