Online coupons and special offers make it easier for users to find the best deals.

Unbiased Consumer introduces “hot deals” coupon page to its growing consumer product review site: http://www.unbiasedconsumer.com. The hot deals section offers coupons and special offers to many online retailers including: Dell, Overstock.com, Hotwire, Steve Madden, Enterprise, Cingular, Dotster, Sony, Toshiba, McAfee, and many more.

“During our constant search for products to add to the review/rating portion of our site we often find great deals, we can’t put them into the regular review/rating portion of the site because they’re mostly under limited time or quantities.” Instead of keeping these deals to themselves, they’ve created another place for them: “The Hot Deals” page (http://www.unbiasedconsumer.com/hot-deals-pg1.php).

The site and newsletter are certified by the Better Internet Bureau ™, providing the much needed privacy assurance that many similar sites lack; “one of the main reasons I started the newsletter was derived out of pure frustration… I signed up for a couple consumer product review sites and within a day or so my email was inundated with SPAM.” This experience is certainly not part of the minority; in fact SPAM has become one of the biggest documented web annoyances. “I guess nothing is actually free these days… now I read the fine print and look for the tell tale sign of references to 3rd party partners… this should really stand for we’re going to sell your email to every spam artist on the planet.” The Unbiased Consumer monthly newsletter, makes it easy to subscribe and unsubscribe from the newsletter, and clearly stated on the front of the site it claims, “If you’re nervous about giving out your email, don’t be… read our privacy policy and be rest assured we will never sell your name/email.”
