Logos Bible Software has been named a Best Christian Place to Work by a nationwide survey published in Christianity Today.

Logos Bible Software equips people with digital texts and tools that help them achieve better and more frequent Bible study. The company employs 100 people at its headquarters in Bellingham, Washington, and sells to customers in more than 143 countries worldwide. 2005 marked the fourth straight year of double-digit sales growth for Logos.

“It is a blessing to work with so many talented, passionate people. After 15 years, I still think Logos is a great place to come to work every day, and I’m glad so many of our employees agree,” said Bob Pritchett, president/CEO of Logos Bible Software.

The workplace survey, administered by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI), asked more than 10,600 employees in 93 organizations across the United States to identify great workplaces with a Christian mission and/or values. The top 40 survey finalists are published in the April issue of Christianity Today magazine.

The survey poses questions to employees around six major categories: attraction and retention, motivation and commitment, empowerment and relationships, rewards and benefits, growth and development, and Christian values. An independent panel of judges weighted the employee scores, the employee survey participation rates and profiles in order to select the finalists.

Based on the survey, the Best Christian Places to Work in the United States are experiencing strong growth, low employee turnover and high levels of trust between employees and management. “We have come to see this survey as a leading indicator of future success for these finalists because of the high levels of organizational health and effectiveness,” said Al Lopus, president of the Best Christian Workplaces Institute.
