Independent Film Production Company D.I.B. Pictures Entertainment Turns in yet Another Award Winning Film

From award winning filmmaker Bivas Biswas, a new film by D.I.B. Pictures Entertainment titled Pour Amour Pourquoi (For Love, For What) wins the Best Film award at the Almost Famous Film Festival 2006

PHOENIX (PRWEB) March 15, 2006 -- Pour Amour Pourquoi (For Love, For What) beats 55 other competing teams to win the Best Film award at the Almost Famous Film Festival (A3F) 2006.

Held in phoenix, Az, A3F is a 48hr. film challenge where the same guidelines are provided to all participating teams competing to write, produce, shoot, and edit a film in 48 hours, films can be upto 7 minutes in length and need to use the guidelines for the challenge. 64 teams participated this year making A3F the largest 48hr. film challenge in Phoenix. 56 teams turned in their films before the deadline.

Written by Serena Torres Webbe and Directed by Bivas Biswas, Pour Amour Pouquoi is a quirky comedy about marriage and marriage counseling. It follows the failed marriages of both the client and their therapist. Besides winning the award for Best Film, the film took home awards for cinematography, ensemble acting and story.

The film was lensed by Director of Photography, Earnest Robinson and features the talents of actor/model Tara Fischer, Rufino Ocamica, award winning actor Dona Wood and Deanna Moraga.

An award winning supporting cast features local family of actors, Valec Martinez, Arturo Martinez, Julie Martinez and Rudy Martinez.

This is the second "Best Film" award for filmmaker, Bivas Biswas whose film "First Date" won the Best Film award at the same festival last year along with awards for acting and story and was placed as the third most popular comedy on ifilm.

D.I.B. Pictures Entertainment has consistently turned in award winning films. Their last year's film "APT. 3157" won the "Most Promising Filmmaker" award for director Bivas Biswas at the International Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival and their latest film "Reason", a mystery/suspense/thriller has been picked up by IFP Phoenix for screening during the Phoenix Film Festival 2006.
