World’s Most Complete Heads Up Display (HUD) Racing System

Nonlinear Engineering Inc has combined their Veypor VR2 performance gauge with the SportVue Heads Up Display (HUD) to provide an industry first display solution for racing enthusiasts. The display mounts to any helmet and uses patented optics to put critical racing information directly in the driver’s field of view.

A wireless transmitter sends all important race information to the helmet mounted HUD via a 2.4 GHz wireless link. The Veypor HUD displays the driver’s speed, RPM, shift indicators, current gear and lap times. It lets a rider know at a glance their gear, when to shift, the last lap time, and even the difference between the current and previous lap times, all without having to look down at their instruments.

The VR2 gauge logs all data for the entire race at a programmable sampling rate. This includes gear changes, RPM, distance, speed, laps and time. Included with every system is the advanced VAS software that allows the analysis, graphing, saving and printing of all the race data. It can even compare laps so you can view different corner entry and exit speeds and when gear changes were made.

The VR2 SportVue HUD mounts to any full-face helmet and works with race cars, karts, and motorcycles. Its unique optics focuses the information well out in front of the driver eliminating the need to take their eyes off the road. The image is clear, easy to read and in the normal field of view, requiring little or no focal time. This immediate and fast access to vital information improves reaction times and performance.
