Tuscan Cooking School Bound for London

Good Tastes of Tuscany will showcase its features at La Dolce Vita, London from March 16 - March 19 2006.

Florence, Italy (PRWEB) March 15, 2006 -- Good Tastes of Tuscany, a Cooking School that provides hands-on coaching in traditional Tuscan cuisine, will showcase its features at La Dolce Vita, the Italian Festival to be held in London from March 16th to 19th 2006.

The school, which has been conducting classes for over three years now, is a part of the Connextions Group, USA. Last September, it introduced new features like intensive single-day classes, and increased its calendar days to meet growing tourist interest.

Billed as the original, authentic Italian event in UK, La Dolce Vita has something for everyone, say the organisers. It is to be held at The Grand Hall, Olympia. It offers all the flavours of Italy, so to speak, under one roof: wine education classes, property seminars, a fresh food market place and also hands-on cooking classes.

A total of 250 exhibitors, representing the best in the products and services of Italy, will be displaying their products at the show.

Good Tastes of Tuscan cooking classes can be customized to meet specific needs and levels of proficiency, says Max Brogi, Media Relations Manager of the company. The courses on offer range from the basic First Taste of Tuscany, through An Italian Immersion, which is a more advanced course, to Bella Toscana, a configured-to-order two or three-day program. There is also a course for young chefs.

The school teaches traditional Tuscan recipes, handed down from generation to generation. The classes are conducted by Lisa and Maurizio, both native to Florence and backed by years of experience and excellent credentials. They are also proficient in English. Course participants get to use locally available, seasonal and freshly acquired vegetables to make a complete Italian meal, from appetizer to dessert, and students end the experience by partaking of the hearty meal they’ve prepared.

The classes are held at the Villa Pandolfini, a gracious 13th century estate just 10 minutes from Florence, where rooms can also be taken on rent.

La Dolce Vita, which enjoyed a terrific response last year, is all set to have an even greater impact this time around. The sponsors of the show are Alfa Romeo, Bertolli, Peroni, Ferrarelle, Ital Logistics, San Pellegrino and Bellini Canella.

Good Tastes of Tuscany Cooking School, which offers affordable and tailor-made lessons round the year in the gracious premises of the Villa Pandolfini, will help London enjoy the true taste of Italy at La Dolce Vita. The show, which will provide a sample of the ultimate Italian experience through food, fashion, real estate and culture, is gearing to outdo its own 2005 performance this year.
