Lead vocalist/guitarist JAK PARIS is the force behind the music. PARIS’ distinct style of music can best be recognized by its blend of modern/alternative rock, positive energy, and expressive lyrics. Adding a dynamic element to the music, PARIS is supported by power drummer Henry Soriano, guitarist Jason Juadines, and bassist Brian Swett. The band’s sound is powered by PARIS’ wide vocal range and emotional musical depth.
JAK PARIS has the drive, determination and talent to achieve major success. “I started my own label because I didn’t like waiting around for other people to do what I can do myself,” states Paris, referring to NEV Records his wholly owned record company of which Electric Revolution is being released. “Bobby Ferrari (Co-Producer) and I have spent 14 months making a record that will compete with the top 10 artists in Rock and Alternative. With most radio stations converting to Hi Def format we made sure the entire CD was mastered in HDCD to deliver the best quality available for the listener.”
Electric Revolution is full of Pop Rock hits such as the opening track “Overrated” that sets a standard for the entire CD, followed by the emotionally charged single “N.B.D.” which is already defying expectations and opening doors for these four musicians from Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new CD from JAK PARIS, Electric Revolution, will be available March 28th. For preorders and list of digital retail outlets go to http://www.jakparis.com.
PARIS recently teamed up with Actress Scarlett Pomers from the hit TV show REBA to record a cover version of the Fleetwood Mac mega hit “The Chain” to raise money for charity. The recent admission from Pomers of her battle with an eating disorder encouraged Paris to support her recovery through music, and the two are releasing this remake in Modern Rock fashion on Electric Revolution, and as a Maxisingle titled Project Chains, with 2 bonus tracks, “Valentine” written and performed by Scarlett Pomers, and “Overrated” from the JAK PARIS CD, Electric Revolution. Both CD’s are available in advance at http://www.jakparis.com.
The three-song compilation, appropriately titled “Project Chains,” will be available in April 2006 or in advance at http://www.jakparis.com. Proceeds from “Project Chains” will go to charity supporting Eating Disorder organizations. Check out http://www.projectchains.com
