San Diego's Reel Picture Productions, LLC Acquires Alshire International Inc.
Reel Picture DVD and CD manufacturer announced the acquisitions of Alshire International Inc. and Paramount Software Services, Inc., which are Southern California based competitors in the optical media duplication, packaging and logistic industries .
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 16, 2006 -- Michael Ishayik, the president of Reel Picture announced today the completed acquisition of Alshire International, Inc. The Alshire acquisition is Reel Picture's second takeover of a Southern California CD duplication, packaging and logistics competitor in the past twelve-months.
Alshire was founded in 1955 as a vinyl-record recording label that became an audio CD and DVD duplication, packaging and order fulfillment company in 1995. According to Ishayik, the purchase of the Burbank based, Alshire International Inc., was "a strategic decision intended to build Reel Picture's Southern California CD and DVD manufacturing and packaging market share." The Alshire deal will extend Reel Picture's manufacturing client base that includes established national software development companies, music labels and dominant Hollywood entertainment companies.
In addition to the Alshire acquisition, Reel Picture purchased Escondido, CA based Paramount Software Services, Inc. in April of 2005. Ishayik stated that, "Reel Picture remains poised for aggressive market-share growth during 2006." Ishayik believes that Reel Picture's heavy investments in real-time internet order fulfillment system development and next-generation DVD manufacturing technologies will be advantageous to the former Alshire International, Inc. client base.
