VIA USA Attains Gold Certified Partner Status in Microsoft Partner Program

VIA USA achieves Microsoft Gold Certification with a core competency in Networking Infrastructure Solutions and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions. With ten years of experience on the Microsoft platform, a Gold Certification solidifies VIA's proven ability to meet customers needs.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 22, 2006 –- VIA USA today announced it has attained Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program, with a core competency in Networking Infrastructure Solutions and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions. Gold certification status is the highest level a partner can achieve with Microsoft, and VIA received the certification due to their demonstrated expertise in Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customers’ needs.

VIA USA is an Internet solutions specialist focused on providing complex hosting solutions directly to customers or through channels. As a partner with Microsoft for more than ten years, Georgia-based VIA has become a globally-known, single source provider for the entire Internet solution.

“Customers look for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities. They need to trust in someone that can act as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies,” said Allison Watson, vice president, Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing, Microsoft Corporation.

VIA USA’s Certification came through two competencies. Networking Infrastructure is the competency that demonstrates technology solutions based on either the Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 or Windows® 2000 Server operating system, with a particular focus on the Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 and the Windows Small Business Server 2003. The second competency, Advanced Infrastructure, focuses on the ability to prove expertise in designing and/or implementing complex infrastructure solutions such as Active Directory®-based and Microsoft Integration Server design and deployment solutions, or Microsoft Exchange Server migration or deployment solutions.
