Shock Horror Homemade Software Creates Unfair Advantage on eBay Sellers
Ebay is supposed to be a fair place to bid and trade. However, some members are using tools which help give them huge advantage over their competitors. Ethical or not?
UK, (PRWEB) March 18, 2006 -- Nick James is one to confess that he has been using code cracking software to help him gain an unfair advantage over his competitors. Selling anything on eBay is a breeze for him.
He is not the only one who has created a unique software like this, there are several others. They come in the form of auction template software, auction management softare, and auction spying software.
To this day, eBay has not made an effort to stop such activities from happening and it has also made no attempt to inform it's customers about this. Thats why some people can't understand why they never sell anything on eBay.
This raises the question of ethics. Is this normal and good practice for business ethics? Would something like this be accepted in the real world? Their is a large growing number of new auction websites that are far strictor and more of a fair deal, is this growth related to this issue?
Auction-O-Matic has been in business for some time now, an the advisors there beleive it to be ok.
