Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 20, 2006
In a free Xtalks webinar on May 9, 2006, Mark Wolfram, General Manager, Venture Integration, Microsoft Corporation and Paul F. Hartzell, Senior Vice President, DataSite, will provide an overview of due diligence strategies in mergers and acquisitions.
Xtalks is pleased to present the Due Diligence Strategies in Mergers and Acquisitions Web Conference.
Best Practices and Strategies to Ensure a Successful M&A
An item concerning smart due diligence will make up a paragraph in the checklist of every Mergers & Acquisitions master, since a process of due diligence is a key part of every successful capital investment. Proper investigation of the potential investment target’s background protects you from misunderstanding the asset price and the possibility of a deal break up.
Today, when corporations increase their M&A activity, on a national as well as global level, General Council’s and CFOs should pay close attention to financial, legal, real estate and HR asset appraisal.
This web-conference presents the opportunity to maximize the effectiveness of due diligence by tapping into the experience of Mark Wolfram, currently responsible for over 30 of Microsoft’s successful acquisitions. Mr. Wolfram will share his experiences and ideas about organizing due diligence procedures and integration planning.
Our speakers will provide insight on:
- How to manage due diligence processes in today’s environment?
- What is the role of due diligence in a successful integration?
- What are the specific areas of due diligence that require particular focus?
This web conference is intended for CEOs, CFOs, VPs and Directors of Finance, General Councils and other executives involved with mergers and acquisitions.
The web conference is sponsored by Merrill Corporation, who will host a workshop following the keynote presentation and before the Q&A session.
Registration for the event is currently open and free at: http://www.xtalks.com/duedilligence.ashx
