Club Scene On Board with Miami Dance Cruises

Miami dance cruises offer an unusual way for people in the area to enjoy the shoreline by night. The on-board dance parties offer a novel alternative to the city’s club scene. The “Island Lady,” a yacht that accommodates up to 140 people with all party amenities, is one of the most popular dance cruise venues.

(PRWEB) March 18, 2006 -- Miami’s hottest party scene has moved offshore, and frequenters of the city’s clubs seem excited about following it.

Miami dance cruises are attracting both city residents and visitors to parties where the dance floor is a deck, and the party rolls on aboard a state-of-the-art yacht cruising the South Florida coast. Like any great party, these floating soirees have professional DJs spinning the latest music, while party-goers dance under the stars.

The on-board dance parties offer a novel alternative to the city’s club scene. The Miami dance cruises set sail from city-side docks handy to parking, with party-goers on board. The impressive decor of the floating ballrooms surrounds the revelers, with the night sky over the bay and the lighted skyline as a backdrop to the festivities.

Miami dance cruises take a good deal of careful planning to do well. Island Queen Cruises, one of the area’s most experienced cruise and yacht charter service, hosts these sea-going dance parties on vessels in their fleet seven nights a week. The “Island Lady,” one of Island Queen Cruise’s centerpiece vessels, is often used for the dance cruises. The yacht accommodates up to 140 people, and is also available for charter for private parties.

Island Queen has long experience hosting weddings, birthday and anniversary parties, and corporate functions in the South Florida area. The dance party cruises were added to the schedule to extend Miami nightlife to an entertaining venue on the water, and add opportunities for visitors to take advantage of Island Queen’s services.

Complete with DJ and refreshments for sale on board, the dance cruises are becoming increasingly popular with seniors, church groups, schools, and other organizations looking for a novel party venue. The one-hour cruise leaves at 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday, with departures hourly from 9:00 pm to midnight on the weekends.

Island Queen’s sales and marketing director, Patrick Young, reports that the yacht charter and sightseeing company provides excellent group rates for Miami dance cruises for parties of 20 or more. Special discounted rates are also available to tour operators and travel agents, with bulk ticket rates for hotel guests, special groups, employee incentives, and as convention favors or gifts.

Young feels that the success of the dance cruises is related to offering guests a complete array of on-board activities, no matter what their mood. The Miami dance cruises offer an unusual way for people in the area to enjoy the shoreline by night, with world-class service and fabulous surroundings as part of the package.
