LeadPoint Taps Autobytel’s Michael Rosenberg as Chief Marketing Officer

Michael Rosenberg appointed Chief Marketing Officer of LeadPoint Inc.

LeadPoint Inc. today announced that Michael Rosenberg has joined the rapidly expanding lead exchange marketplace as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Rosenberg comes to LeadPoint from Autobytel, where he served as Senior Vice President, Media and Marketing Services. In the newly created position, Mr. Rosenberg will report directly to LeadPoint CEO Marc Diana.

As LeadPoint’s CMO, Mr. Rosenberg brings a wealth of both online and offline marketing, strategic thinking, business development and E-Commerce experience to the Los Angeles-based company. Joining the executive team, Mr. Rosenberg will assist the company in continuing its successful efforts as the world’s first lead exchange marketplace. His primary responsibilities include securing lead seller activity as well as all marketing functions for the company.

At Autobytel, Mr. Rosenberg served as Senior Vice President, Media and Marketing Services for the industry leader in the online automotive lead space. Mr. Rosenberg’s key responsibilities included driving traffic into the Autobytel network of sites and monetizing that traffic via lead conversion and advertising. During his tenure, he was responsible for spearheading deals with ESPN.com, America Online, Earthlink and Viacom Television Group. He also was responsible for generating record purchase request volume in 2004, as well as for doubling Autobytel paid and natural search traffic. Prior to Autobytel, Mr. Rosenberg was Vice President, AOL Web Properties Strategy and Business Development for America Online, Inc. He has also held senior marketing and strategy positions at HJ Heinz, Rogers Cable, Bain & Company and Procter and Gamble.
