There is a new paint on the market that allows you to turn any wall into a dry erase board.

Markee Dry-Erase Paint, Inc., on Thursday announced the nation’s first paint that can create dry erase surfaces anywhere.

Perry Belcher, a company spokesman, said the product, Markee Dry-Erase Paint, takes the concept of a dry-erase board to the next level of innovation and combines the convenience of a dry-erase surface with the easy application of paint.

“If you can paint a wall, you can create limitless possibilities for dry erase surfaces absolutely anywhere in your business, home, or school,” Belcher said. “Even if you redecorate or rearrange and don’t want that particular surface to be dry anymore, all you have to do is paint over it and it’s like it was never there.”

He added that one of the most innovative features of Markee Dry-Erase Paint is that it’s colorless with no overpowering fumes and dries clear, so there’s no need to have a giant white spot on your wall in order to make it dry erase. In addition, there’s no need for a dry erase room to be completely white, Belcher said.

Sharon Smith, 32, of Houston, Texas, said she started home schooling her three children about four months ago, but added that it’s been difficult with no write board or chalk board.

“I couldn’t afford anyone of them,” Smith said. “I bought the Markee Dry-Erase Paint and it is wonderful. It makes teaching my children so much easier. My 13-year-old son ever helps me apply it.”

Markee Dry-Erase Paint is manufactured by Memphis-based Markee Dry-Erase Paint, Inc. For more information on dry erase paint, visit http://www. dryerasemagic.com.
