After being diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia at the age of 36, Julie Meryl created a website devoted to raising awareness and funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. With the assistance of her artistic father, she developed a line of unique products giving support to children and adults with blood cancer and their loved ones. “When I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, I was stunned, angry, depressed, and didn’t know what might become of me. Leukemia – blood cancer. Me?
