Canvas Artists Announces Its 'Happy Moments' Contest
In an effort to reward its loyal customers, online-based art firm Canvas Artists has announced its “Happy Moments” contest, in which customers can win up to $500 in prizes.
Miami, FL (PRWEB) March 21, 2006 -- In an effort to reward its loyal customers, online-based art firm Canvas Artists (http://www.canvasartists.com) has announced its “Happy Moments” contest, in which customers can win up to $500 in prizes.
To participate in the contest, customers must submit a photograph of their artwork ordered at Canvas Artists, next to the actual persons, pets or objects portrayed in their artwork. The entry should also include a short essay describing the moment their loved ones received their piece of art. If the painting or drawing was ordered for oneself, then the essay should be about the reactions of family and friends to the artwork.
The winner will be selected by a panel of third-party judges, who will select the customers that have generated the happier moments among their friends and families by using the services of Canvas Artists. The prizes are Canvas Artists Gift Certificates, to be used in their photo to art service. First place winner will get a $500 certificate, second place will receive a $250 certificate and a $100 certificate will be awarded to the third place.
“Due to the overwhelming amount of positive feedback we get from our customers, we have conceived the Happy Moments contest”, says Luis Veras, Canvas Artists’ CEO. “This is our way of saying ‘thanks’ for sharing their personal stories with us.” As an extra incentive to participate in the competition, all customers sending an entry will receive a $20 gift certificate, just for sending their photo and essay.
Canvas Artists is an art company with over one hundred and twenty artists that specialize in creating custom hand painted portraits from photographs. Some of the types of artworks created by this art company include oil on canvas, pencil sketches, watercolor paintings and pastel drawings. They can be created from just about any image submitted by their customers.
Those that have never ordered from Canvas Artists before, can still participate in the ‘Happy Moments’ contest by placing an order, and after receiving their artwork, submitting an entry. However, anyone planning on doing this must order a painting or drawing right away, because Canvas Artists will only be receiving entries until April 30th. Winners will be announced on May 15th.
