Collin Camino Gravsande was chosen by Seven Magazine as the best new filmmaker in New York by Seven Magazine, the fashion and entertainment magazine. His recently completed feature film "Confessions of a Gangsta".The movies sexy "Banana scene" was a big hit at a recent college screening in New York.
(PRWEB) March 22, 2006 -- "Confessions of a Gangsta" is the urban tale of the illegitimate son of the Mayor who kidnaps his Father with the intentions of killing him. The Mayor secretly heads a retail outlet that is a front for an illegal black market sex videotape trade. The girls employed at the store are illegal immigrants who are forced to do a "lite" video.
If the girls refuse they are raped and the attack is videotaped for the Asian black market.
The filmmaker has been contacted by a number of distributors as well as by one large urban themed distributor, specializing in inner city themed films. The film cost 200 thousand dollars to make and will probably be a huge hit for the film buyer/distributors. The semi-documentary style and limited use of dialogue has many comparing the director to a new Goddard or Tarrantino. The filmmaker was quoted as says "it was a great process completing my first feature and the amount of interest in this movie is incredible." I am going to sell this film to the buyer who has the most interest in this project."
Gravsande's next script is done and he is ready to start on the next movie."The buyer of "Confessions of a Gangsta will also have the opportunity to get the next project". His next film is an intelligent horror film on demon possession.
