Real Digital Media CEO to Participate on Globalshop 2006 Panel Discussion

Discussion to focus on building smarter stores through the integration of visual merchandising, store design & technology for improved customer experience and increased profits

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) March 22, 2006 -- Real Digital Media (RDM), a leading provider of next generation digital signage products for establishing point of purchase marketing, promotions and corporate communication networks, today announced that Ken Goldberg, CEO of Real Digital Media, will participate in a panel discussion at Globalshop 2006. The panel discussion, entitled “Building Smarter Stores: Integrating Visual Merchandising, Store Design & Technology for Improved Customer Experience and Increased Profits,” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28th, 2006 from 8:30-10:00 am, EST at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Nikki Baird, Senior Analyst, Consumer Markets Forrester Research. Panelists include Greg Gorman of GMG Design Inc. - Store Design; and Ken Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer, Real Digital Media.

The discussion will focus on what it takes to design, execute and maintain a consistent brand experience for your customers through the seamless integration of technology with store design and visual merchandising, even as it is delivered uniquely store by store across the chain. These leading industry executives on the panel will provide insight into the opportunities and challenges inherent in customer-centric store design, including how to leverage some of the newest technologies, such as digital signage, for maximum effect.

Panelist Ken Goldberg will be focusing on the role of technology in today’s evolving retail digital signage experience.

“Trends are showing consumers are increasingly becoming more accepting of technology as part of the store experience,” said Ken Goldberg, CEO of Real Digital Media. “With ad backlash and blocking on the rise in traditional and online mediums, in-store technology that facilitates relevant messaging of a brand or product through the digital delivery of dynamic, customized content at the point-of-purchase is the next advertising frontier. Digital signage, kiosks and other technology innovations are changing the way consumer products companies and retailers relate to customers, and I’m looking forward to discussing the role of technology with my peers as it relates to improving the customer experience in the retail environment.”

GlobalShop is the only retail show that provides over 900 exhibitors showcasing their cutting-edge designs in the retail industry.
