SQL Effects Software has released SQL Effects Clarity ASE Edition, the Database Comparison Tool for the Sybase ASE Platform.

SQL Effects Software today announced availability of a new edition of their database comparison tool SQL Effects Clarity to provide support for the Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise platform.

SQL Effects Clarity ASE Edition is the only tool of its kind to provide this level of support for performing database comparisons on the Sybase ASE platform.

The tool provides the same advanced database comparison functionality as the MS Edition (for Microsoft SQL Server) and offers the following features: graphical schema comparison in a side by side drill down tree, highly configurable comparison options, selective object comparisons - to allow complete schema comparison or only objects of interest, presentation quality formatted reports, drill down side by side comparison of code based objects showing a line by line diff in SQL code, easily repeatable comparison chores by the use of named session files, a robust command line interface and unattended mode, and powerful results exporting capabilities - supporting the following formats: MS Excel, PDF, HTML, Text, and XML.

SQL Effects Clarity is an advanced database comparison tool focusing on providing software developers, DBAs, quality engineers and other IT professionals the ability to determine in detail the differences between two databases. The tool is known for flexibility, convenience, speed, and unique results display mechanisms. SQL Effects Clarity not only performs the comparison operation very quickly but also has many time saving features built in that allow you to conserve precious time by not having to wade through a mountain of immaterial differences results. A unique GUI results display allows you to look at only the specific aspects of the database that you are interested in, down to the named object and attribute level - a feature not found in other tools.
