In a new book titled Prayer (now available through AuthorHouse), which walks Christians through seven weeks of dedicated worship, Zadok Hakim helps readers develop a relationship with God through Jesus and Bible study.
“Many people believe in God, but believing in God is only the beginning. Christians must know God and have a close relationship with him. The only way to have that perfect and true relationship with the almighty God is to receive Jesus Christ in their hearts as Lord and Savior and believe that Jesus Christ came to this world to save us from our sins,” Hakim writes.
The book was written with the main goal of helping the Christian believer understand the power of prayer. To understand this power, Hakim writes, the faithful must do the following:
Read the word of God, believe it and learn from the Bible what pleases God
- Have a close relationship with God through his son, Jesus Christ
- Implement a time for prayer and respect this scheduled time
- Follow the 10 Commandments
- Acknowledge that people are sinners
- Ask for God’s assistance as humbly as a child
Prayer helps readers accomplish these goals with worksheets and specific Bible passages for each day of the seven week-long prayer itineraries. Hakim helps people absorb the Bible messages.
“We need to study and scrutinize the instruction in the Bible and understand how to use the direction given to us in the Bible to arrive at the final destination when we see our lord and savior face to face,” he writes.
