San Bernardino, CA (PRWEB) March 23, 2006 -- Roberta Essig has the head duties of Director of Administration and Financial Services for the new The Art Institute of California -- Inland Empire, located in San Bernardino.
With years behind her as Corporate Controller, Essig now oversees the school’s accounting system, financial aid, student accounts, and all financial services. She is responsible for the budget and forecasting processes at The Art Institute of California -- Inland Empire.
Essig is also responsible for maintaining the school’s accounting policies and procedures as well as working closely with outside CPA auditing firms and other financial institutions.
Essig received a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts from The University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. She studied for her master’s degree in accounting at California State University in San Bernardino. She also held senior accounting positions at University of La Verne and at the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
In 1996 Essig accepted a position to start up the accounting department at Summit Career College in Colton, California, becoming its first Controller. She played an integral role in managing the financial strategy for the college’s six-fold growth in nine short years.

The Art Institute of California -- Inland Empire, located at 630 East Brier Drive in San Bernardino, consists of 33,500 square feet of space, including a library, bookstore, classrooms, and computer labs. Classes started January 9, 2006, and applications for winter and spring quarter are being accepted now.
This institution has received approval to operate from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite S 202, Sacramento, CA 95834, (916) 574-7720, www.bppve.ca.gov, in order to enable the Bureau to conduct a quality inspection of the institution.
