Corvette Gear USA Revs Up for Website Release

CorvetteGearUSA.com is a new e-commerce site catering to Corvette enthusiasts and fans. They sell high-end Corvette leather jackets, leather luggage, and other Corvette accessories. This release highlights the launch of this new product site.

(PRWEB) March 27, 2006 -- Corvette Gear USA released its user-friendly e-commerce website this week, where discriminating Corvette owners and enthusiasts can purchase top grain leather jackets, luggage, apparel, and other accessories bearing the officially licensed GM® Corvette logo.

Corvette mania seeps in the soul of many Americans causing them to gather in large groups, share stories, and revel in their pride of ownership. This fan excitement has bred hundreds of Corvette clubs across the nation. One of the most popular organizations advertised on the internet claims 281 clubs in 15 regions, and over 16,000 members.

After much consideration and business research, Corvette Gear USA chose LevelTen Design to speak to the heart of Corvette owners and fans through designing Corvette Gear USA’s new e-commerce product website.

“We did interview a number of website design companies, and reviewed their B to B and B to C site portfolio, before choosing LevelTen. Personal, face-to-face, contact was important to us and after realizing LevelTen’s convenient Dallas location and competitive pricing, combined with their outstanding portfolio, we knew we had the right company,” explained Mike McLoughlin, Vice President of Key Accounts.

The homepage shows an exciting open road scene preceded by candid shots of beautiful Corvette leather jackets and apparel. The site displays a streamlined, clean, style and look, allowing for intuitive navigation and an easy shopping experience.

The descriptive product copy on the website reads in a similar fashion to the detail-rich car specifications found in car magazines that every die hard Corvette fan adores. For example, the Corvette 21" Leather Duffel with the C5 logo is constructed of top grain cowhide, and has the dimensions 22"x16"x13”. Other stated features include:

“Full zip - wide top luggage compartment and convenient side pocket, heavy duty matte finish metal hardware, self-healing nylon coil zippers with signature Corvette zipper pulls, signature corvette lining, and Corvette embroidered logo”

The duffel also “meets all FAA carryon restrictions,” which is quite important to the Corvette fan not wanting to lose his or her luxury bag in flight transit. Each Corvette logo embroidered item is prominently displayed with clear product pictures that can easily be clicked to enlarge for details, then dropped into an online shopping cart.

“The results exceeded out expectations,” exclaimed McLoughlin.
