Some of the products on display at this year’s show will be the “A.I Bar,” a fully automated beverage dispensing machine that is capable of pouring any combination of ingredients to make the perfect drink. In addition, the “Auto-Heat®” is a heated car cover that would prevent snow and ice accumulation on a vehicle, saving time and effort for users, and the “Ridge Chair®,” which is a portable chair for outdoor use that features independently adjustable legs to enhance comfort on uneven terrain.

“INPEX® is an opportunity for inventors to display their ideas, and try to make contacts or receive feedback from other inventors, companies interested in new products and the general public,” explained Jennifer Lawlor, Trade Show Director.

Exhibits at INPEX® cover a range of product categories and are in various stages of development. Some exhibits showcase technological advancements, while others feature simple improvements to existing products. Some inventors display sketches or blueprints, and others have an inventory of finished products. INPEX® offers companies a source for inventions and new product ideas.

Attendees include manufacturers, distributors, catalogue retailers, investors and others interested in a broad range of product categories.

Another part of the tradeshow is INPEX® Inventors University®, sponsored by The Invention Show. The University is a series of seminars, presentations, and panel discussions and will feature this year’s keynote speaker Sara Blakely, founder and creator of SPANX®, footless body-shaping pantyhose. Sara has appeared with SPANX® on many shows, including Oprah’s ‘Favorite Things’ episode and QVC. She also appeared on Fox’s reality show, The Rebel Billionaire. Exhibitors can also check out the three pavilions offered at the trade show, the Intellectual Property Pavilion, the Prototyping Pavilion and the Manufacturing Pavilion. With experts available to answer questions, these pavilions will help assist exhibitors in many different aspects of their invention.

An international jury judges inventions, which are awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, cash prizes, and corporate trophies at the INPEX® awards dinner. INPEX® the Invention Show will be held June 7-10, 2006 at the ExpoMart in Pittsburgh.
