Cain And Abel takes the Audience Award for "Best Feature" at the 2006 OTHER VENICE FILM FESTIVAL.
Each year the Festival presents three Audience Awards selected and voted upon by Festival audience members. Ballots are issued at each screening (only those present can vote) and collected in our shiny ballot boxes located in the theater lobbies. The ballots are tallied throughout the Festival, with audience winners announced at the Closing Night Party for Best Feature, Best Documentary, and Best Short Film.
(PRWEB) March 25, 2006 -- The Audience Award for Best Feature was given to Shane Woodson's "Cain and Abel". A dark comedy about two undercover detectives who are involved in the underbelly of Los Angeles to the extent where their lives are turned up side down when they become the ones being hunted. Christy Oldham and Lola Davidson are undercover detectives hired to take down Cain, Terence Flack and Abel, Shane Woodson, by any and all means necessary. The story is wild, unpredictable and captured through a 1970's perspective.
Two hilarious undercover cops who think they are in the 70's meet their match when a new detective joins the force. Abel Played by Shane Woodson from films such as Johnson Family Vacation and starting in the hit soap opera "Passions". Along side Cain played by Terrence Flack venture out in their 69 Impala fighting crime on the streets of Los Angeles.
