New Alarm Monitoring Service From MyGard

New alarm monitoring service offers peace of mind at only £99.95 for 12 months

London, ENGLAND (PRWEB) March 26, 2006 -- Intruder and fire alarm-monitoring specialist MyGARD has today launched a smoke detector and burglar alarm monitoring service costing less than half the price of existing services, making it an affordable option for homeowners.

MyGARD’s conversion product can change any household bell-only alarm into a monitored system, learning the sound of up to 4 different alarms. When an alarm sounds the conversion product recognises the noise and notifies the MyGARD monitoring station. The monitoring team will then phone the house to rule out a false alarm and then contact the keyholder or Group 4 Securicor, as specified by the homeowner, by phone, text or email to advise them of the situation.

“Many houses lie empty during the day with parents at work and children at school, but is it fair to expect your friends and neighbours to take action to protect your property when you are not home? Our service makes monitoring an easy and affordable option for families who might not have previously contemplated it,” said John Steel, CEO at MyGARD.

Berkshire alarm installer Band Systems is already selling the service and expects it to be very popular: “We offer a number of monitored services but MyGARD is by far the most affordable option. Our customers also like the idea of being contacted by text, which is an option other providers do not offer,” said Steve Barford, Owner of Band Systems.

MyGARD’s conversion product costs £79.99 with monitoring for 12 months costing £99.95.
