Palm Beach Phantoms Set to Suppress the Revolution

NIFL Palm Beach Phantoms playing against NIFL Greensboro Revolution

Wellington, FL (PRWEB) March 26, 2006 -- As the Palm Beach Phantoms aim their cannons at the Greensboro (NC) Revolution, they have two things on their minds: crushing the Revolution, and winning on the road. This Saturday's matchup pits the upstart Phantoms against the Revolution in the Revolution's inaugural home game at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The Phantoms have been practicing nightly, perfecting their offense and tightening their defense for the challenge ahead. Both teams have something to prove, especially with 0-1 records on the road.

The Revolution is recovering from a 0-43 loss against Osceola Football. The Phantoms may be able to capitalize on the Revolution's lack of momentum to spur a win on the road.

The Phantoms' wide receivers are the largest threat to the Revolution, with Nakia Johnson (NY Jets) and James Johnson both scoring two touchdowns in the loss against Lakeland. Linebacker Tyrone Higgins also recorded a 42 yard interception for a touchdown, along with averaging 11 solo tackles a game.

The showdown between the Phantoms and the Revolution begins at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Phantoms will emerge victorious, and the Revolution will earn an 0-2 record after their inaugural home game.
