(PRWEB) March 27, 2006 -- MCM-Nashville is pleased to announce that will begin auditioning new talent to fulfill openings for its newly formed Artist Development Division. The new division will be spearheaded by marketing and promotion giant, Julian Heitman, Jr. and will be divided into five major entertainment genres, including; Rock, Pop, R&B, Country and Christian.

According to Hietman, the primary focus of the Artist Development Division will be to seek out new, undiscovered talent in the various genres and cultivate them into established recording and performing artists. We’ll do this by first representing our clients within targeted, regional markets. We’ll then expand those markets by utilizing the collective resources of MCM-Nashville’s substantial promotion and distribution network. “When we sign a Developmental Artist, they’ll be provided with the same type of attention and quality of service that one would normally expect to be received by only well established artists”, said Heitman.

Recently, MCM-Nashville has been creating quite a buzz in the entertainment world after receiving an impressive amount of world wide media exposure. The exposure comes as a result of this year’s successful launch of College-Country music sensation, Steven Hall and Christian recording artist Mike Cowart. According to MCM-Nashville Vice President of Marketing and Promotion, Nick Baird, the company has been paying particular attention to its internet activity. “MCM-Nashville has proven that by wisely utilizing the electronic media platforms now available, along with the application good old-fashioned business principals, we can level the playing field for new artists,” said Baird.

Additional information regarding the Artist Development Division is available on the MCM-Nashville Website.
