However, most of these talented young riders lack the support and guidance needed to become America’s next generation of great cyclists. Currently, a vacuum exists in American cycling between the numerous “club” teams and professional cycling organizations. WBI Investments’ mission as a sponsor is to give these young talented riders the support they need by creating an environment that is professional in nature. We will provide them with access to top coaches, professional level equipment, and an environment to succeed competitively.”
   
WBI Investments’ will select riders based upon their commitment to the sport of cycling, past results, and their ambition for future improvement. In addition, a rider’s ability to work well with the team will be a critical component to the success of a rider overall.
   
According to Matt Schreiber, Team Manager of WBI Investments Cycling Team and Sales Manager for WBI Investments, “The goal is to develop young riders and have a core team comprised of riders who are entering college, those currently attending college, and recent graduates.”
   
“In addition to creating a top level developmental cycling team, WBI Investments also hopes to help our riders in the future academically in the form of scholarships, internships, and job placement,” said Don Schreiber.

The WBI Investments Cycling Team will race primarily in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, New York State, and New York City from May to October.
