Pope Valley, California (PRWEB) March 29, 2006 -- Join Project Bird Watch on our Spirit of Seram Expedition, in Maluku, August 3 - 19, 2006. Experience the adventure of a lifetime on this extraordinary eco-expedition to Seram Island in Maluku. We will have the opportunity to see Moluccan cockatoos, Great-Billed parrots, Eclectus, Red- cheeked parrots, lories, lorikeets, hornbills, and giant flying fruit bats. We will be sleeping in our canopy platform, hiking through pristine jungle, and visiting the villages of Masihulan and Sawai. Seram Island is one of the most beautiful and mysterious islands in the world. Other activities will include a visit to Bali, climbing techniques, snorkeling, shelling, shopping, special visits to learn about the Muslim and Hindu cultures, and many other surprises!

Cost is $3950 per person which includes international airfare.

Join Project Bird Watch on our Paradise Expedition, August 20 - September 1, 2006. Experience an amazing eco-expedition to the Raja Ampat (Four Kings) Islands in mysterious Irian Jaya, now called West Papua. You will have the opportunity to see Triton and Palm Cockatoos, and Birds of Paradise including (if all goes well) The Wilson’s Bird of Paradise, The Red Bird of Paradise, and the Lesser Bird of Paradise. We will also see other parrots including Eclectus, lories and Great Bills. We will visit the islands of Gam, Waigeo, Salawati and Batanta, ending up in Bali for touring and shopping. We will be hiking, camping and seeing some of the most amazing Asian rainforest in the world.

Cost is $3500 per person which includes international airfare --- or take the trip as an extension to the Seram trip for $1500.
