Hollywood's Elite Pets Receive A Star of Their Own

Trend Setting Pet Designer Gives Hollywood’s Elite Pets A Star of their Own with the New ‘Bark of Fame’ Luxury Pet Bed.

Exton, PA (PRWEB) March 30, 2006 –- Don’t tell trend-setting designer Joyce Reavey that dogs don’t deserve their own star on Hollywood’s ‘bark of fame.’ Reavey feels today’s pets – famous or not – deserve something just as special as their celebrity counterparts.

“The stars are recognized with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame – don’t pets deserve a similar recognition?” asks Joyce Reavey, award-winning designer and owner of Pawsitively Posh – a fast growing upscale pet accessories design firm located in Exton, Pennsylvania.

The ‘Bark of Fame’ pet bed will officially debut at the upcoming H. H. Backer Annual Pet Trade Show in Atlantic City on April 7th, but it’s already receiving a lot of buzz. “I’ve shown it to a few of my best customers and some magazine editors, and they’re going crazy for it,” notes Joyce. “Pre-orders are selling out and I’m crossing my fingers I get them in prior to the Backer show.”

Reavey’s designs are certainly one-of-a-kind in the blossoming $36 billion pet industry. She was the first designer to offer the furry slipper bed for dogs – an upscale, warm, and cozy environment that helps small dogs feel safe and secure, yet looks fun. Now, you’ll find similar but inferior quality designs from several manufacturers on the web.

From the Flower Bed featured on “The Newlyweds Show” with Jessica Simpson, to the Slipper Bed sent to Hillary Duff in a Birthday gift basket, her designs are quickly becoming pet fashion must-haves. But it’s her limited edition Faberge-inspired ‘Fab Imperial Bed,’ one of her first designs, that still stands alone in the crowd of pet beds. From its jewel-encrusted, velvet outer layer to its hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, there is still nothing else like it. “So far, no one has taken a stab at copying this one,” laughs Joyce. “The construction is so time consuming, they’d have to be nuts!”

Reavey hopes that the ‘Bark of Fame’ pet bed gives pets the celebrity treatment they crave. “After all,” said Joyce, “isn’t every pet a star?”

Headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, Pawsitively Posh develops and markets high quality pet accessories. For more information, product samples, or interviews, please contact designer Joyce Reavey at 610-518-1296, or visit the website at: www.pawsitivelyposh.com.
