(PRWEB) March 29, 2006 -- PsychoTherapy Clothing is bringing its fun, humorous and thoughtful novelty T shirts to college campuses nationwide. These psychologically based shirts and tanks will be available at college bookstores and also sold at a discount for student fundraisers.

Finally on your own and out of your parents house? Ready to make that statement that you’ve always wanted to, but couldn’t? Psycho Therapy Clothing has come to the rescue. Shed your outer layer and reveal what you’re really feeling…PsychoTherapy Clothing is a new company that designs t-shirts that allow you to express to the world your individual neuroses, phobias and obsessions.

This unique wearable “fashion” therapy enables people to get out of the dorm and on to the street-expressing not only their good taste, but also their unique psychological state of mind. With a psychological condition on the front and a dictionary definition on the back, these shirts will make going to class a lot more fun and will get you the compassion and understanding you deserve!

Launched in July 2005, Psycho Therapy Clothing is the brainchild of UMASS Amherst graduate Keith Knight. As a New York based filmmaker and member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), he worked on films with stars like Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, Steve Martin, Anthony Hopkins, Goldie Hawn, Richard Gere and Winona Ryder. Many of the quirks of these A-list celebrities helped inspire him to form the company. “At about $20 a shirt I thought this was a more cost-effective way to work out inner demons,” jokes Knight of his collection. “The high price of therapy these days had me thinking that I could help people with their psychological issues and their wardrobes at the same time.”

Psycho Therapy Clothing has had its T-shirts featured in the nations top magazines and newspapers. They have been in Teen People, Rolling Stone Magazine, Fitness Magazine, Zinc Magazine, Pursuit Magazine, The San Fran Weekly, Playgirl, and The Chicago Tribune. The site has been featured on CollegeHumor.com and the shirts can also be viewed at DressKevin.com, Amazon.com, Ebay and Cafe Press.

The interactive website also features a “Free Advice” section, a photo gallery of the beautiful “Psycho Girls”, a psychological test, and a chance to submit shirt ideas. The company has also expanded with a Social Therapy Line that includes humorous Sex Therapy shirts as well as a Gender Therapy line which includes Gay and Lesbian themed shirts.

The shirts can be purchased at the companies website: www.PsychoTherapyClothing.com and start at $18. The tees are also available at discounted rates for school, group and greek fundraisers. Psycho Therapy Clothing shirts are cleverly packaged in an oversized prescription bottles making it the perfect gift to give to someone…in person or anonymously.
