National Arbitration Forum to Sponsor and Lead Training Sessions at American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution Spring Conference

Leading ADR experts provide will provide training and updates on developments in the alternative dispute resolution field

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN., (PRWEB) March 30, 2006 -- http://www.arbitration-forum.com/ - National Arbitration Forum attorneys will speak at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Dispute Resolution Spring Conference “ADR on My Mind in Georgia” being held April 5-8 in Atlanta, Ga.

National Arbitration Forum Director of Education Roger Haydock, Esq. will lead a skills training session entitled “Discovery in Arbitration: What Advocates and Arbitrators Can (and Cannot) Do!” on April 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Haydock will conduct an interactive skills workshop that addresses discovery in arbitration including the rules, motion practice and the parameters around decision making.

Haydock will also be a panelist on a panel entitled “From Apologies to Mandatory Mediation: A Comprehensive ADR Legislative and Regulatory Round-Up” on April 6 from 2:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. This presentation will provide an overview of federal and state legislation and regulations concerning dispute resolution.

National Arbitration Forum Senior Legal Counsel Colleen Askvig will be a member of a roundtable entitled “Diversity in the ADR Profession” as part of the Forum on Expanding Opportunities for Minorities and Women. Askvig will share the ADR provider’s perspective on how to ensure diversity in the ADR profession and on ADR panels/rosters.
