Window Book Upgrades Shipping Products to Comply with USPS® FAST system; Seeks Volunteer BETA Testers

Window Book's mailing products now comply with USPS FAST system.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) March 31, 2006 -- Window Book, Inc., the leader in postal shipping, manifest mailing and Delivery Confirmation® software announced today that its mailing products, DAT-MAIL™ and Post Master™, have been updated to comply with the United States Postal Service’s (USPS®) Facility Access and Shipment Tracking (FAST) system. Additionally, Window Book is seeking volunteers to BETA test its FAST interface with USPS.

FAST replaced USPS’s previous system, Drop Shipment Appointment System (DSAS) and is more efficient and reliable. It processes drop shipping via electronic notification and automatically tracks appointments.

The USPS has made significant improvements in the way drop shipments are processed and Window Book’s software will enable mailers to integrate their systems seamlessly with the new FAST system. It will greatly improve our customers’ internal quality control systems by giving them the ability to track and match up appointments and 8125 forms

DAT-MAIL is a post-presort mailing statement generating software, which can edit both Mail.dat and non-Mail.dat data entry. It supports PostalOne!® via Mail.dat files, PostalOne! Web Services, as well as FAST Web Services.
