Nexus Telecom has won a large six-year contract to supply BT with NexusHORIZON, a comprehensive network performance management solution.
London, UK (PRWEB) April 3, 2006 -- Nexus Telecom has won a large six-year contract to supply BT with NexusHORIZON, a comprehensive network performance management solution.
The new deployment will include the newest feature of NexusHORIZON: automated Service Level Verification (SLV), a rules-based threshold detection facility which automatically informs an operations centre when key performance indicators reach critical thresholds.
Iain McCallum, NMS technical design authority, BT Global Services, said: “We opted for the NexusHORIZON because it provides an excellent performance management solution for our Nortel MSS networks. It will help us guarantee the highest level of service assurance to one of our key customers”.
Alain Giger, managing director of Nexus Telecom, System Solutions, said: “We are pleased to extend our performance management deployment and relationship with BT, and appreciate their confidence in our carrier-grade solution which is based on previous successful deployments at BT.
