Suburban Philadelphia Youth Association Knocks One Out of the Park
The Spring-Ford Youth Athletic League gets set for opening day
Royersford, PA (PRWEB) April 1, 2006 -- It’s time for the roar of the crowd, the smell of peanuts and the sound of bats cracking. Baseball and Softball are coming back into full swing as the Spring-Ford Youth Athletic League marks opening day of the 2006 season on April 8th.
For over 50 years, the league has been providing the youth of the Spring-Ford area a chance to take part in these classic summertime sports. With a dozen leagues and over 750 players there is truly something for everyone, be it a player or a spectator.
The SFYAL invites all local residents to join them on opening day at the Spring City Complex to cheer on the players. Local politicians and the latest Wall of Fame inductees will be in attendance and look forward to seeing new faces as well as return fans. The Spring City Complex is located behind the Spring City Elementary School at 190 S Wall Street in Spring City. The complex boasts four baseball fields and a stand-along T-ball field as well.
