Introducing Super-Stars to Super Leaders: Progressive Women Come Face to Face with Proven Leadership Strategies

70 to 100 of Houston’s “Super-Stars” will gather at the Marriott Westchase Houston on April 15, 2006 to meet with some of Houston’s most progressive “Super-leaders” in business. The event themed, “It’s a Woman’s World: Leadership in the 3rd Millennium,” is a luncheon spearheaded by Progressive Women’s Network, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing a network of resources for women, their families and their communities.

Houston,TX (PRWEB) April 1, 2006 -- 70 to 100 of Houston’s “Super-Stars” will gather at the Marriott Westchase Houston on April 15, 2006 to meet with some of Houston’s most progressive “Super-leaders” in business. The event themed, “It’s a Woman’s World: Leadership in the 3rd Millennium,” is a luncheon spearheaded by Progressive Women’s Network, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing a network of resources for women, their families and their communities.    

During the networking reception from 11:30-1:00, the “Super-Stars” and “Super-Leaders” will have access to resources such as grant writing experts, information on the latest business software, innovative ways to organize home offices, and smart ways to get publicity. Attendees will discover new contacts, alliances and partnering possibilities, as well as organizational and individual strategies that benefit women, the industry and the world of business itself.

The slated keynote speaker for the luncheon will be the first President and CEO of the Houston Comets, Andrea Bouchey Young. She is one of the youngest presidents of a professional sports organization, and her storey is amazing. Members of the Houston Comets organization will also to take part in this memorable event.

The event will begin with a networking reception at 11:30 am, followed by the luncheon at 1:00 pm. The public is invited to attend. Seating is limited, therefore any interested individuals should reserve early. Tickets are on sale now for $35.00 per person, $40.00 at the door, tables are available upon requests. A portion of the proceeds will go to “A Caring Closet”, an organization that assist young girls who could not otherwise afford to attend their prom, by outfitting them for their special night with dresses, shoes and jewelry.
