The name Jalima Coffee was derived by the first couple of letters of each partner’s name: Janet, Libe and Marcela.
Throughout the past six months, they have placed their products in approximately 90 specialty stores and gourmet food markets in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland.

Jalima Coffee is a very mission-driven company that has partnered with various organizations to help support important ecological and social projects. The El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve is located in Chiapas, Mexico among the peaks of the Sierra Madres Mountains. This 300,000 acre reserve is considered the most pristine and diverse natural areas remaining in Mexico with varied and complex vegetation types including the two most threatened – the rain forest and the cloud forest.
