Rapp Collins offers National Change of Address Processing
Rapp Collins Worldwide has brought National Change of Address (NCOA) processing in-house in a move that will provide quicker turnaround and a less expensive alternative to processing which was historically outsourced.
IRVING, TX (PRWEB) April 3, 2006 -- Rapp Collins Worldwide has brought National Change of Address (NCOA) processing in-house in a move that will provide quicker turnaround and a less expensive alternative to processing which was historically outsourced.
“Our in-house NCOA processing is a USPS certified program that offers eighteen months of NCOA data” said Bob Schmidt, Director of Rapp Collins’ data processing group. “In many cases we can process a file in half the time for about half the cost of the outsourced alternative”.
NCOA processing is required for all first class mailings and recommended for any direct mail campaign as it can improve the delivery rate by up to 3%;
Mr. Schmidt adds “Our NCOA processing takes advantage of DPV or Delivery Point Validation which is much more accurate than the address range based routines traditionally used”. DPV validates mail based on exact address matches rather than ranges. This is significant considering over three-quarters of a billion mail pieces were returned undeliverable in 1998, according to a USPS cost study.
Rapp Collins’s production center offers end-to-end direct mail lettershop and data processing services including data hygiene, geocoding, zip code radius optimization, postal entry point optimization, laser, ink jet, inserting, and trucking of client direct mail.
“Bringing more services in-house helps us to make the critical mail dates that clients are now demanding” Said Craig Oslos, Director of Rapp Collins’ production center.
“Our customers are telling us they want accurate results in a hurry at a reasonable price. The in-sourcing of NCOA shows commitment to our clients that we value their feedback” continues Mr. Schmidt.
