Regal Aviation Renews Top Ratings

Regal Aviation, a leading provider of private jet services, recently retained the highest safety ratings from the industry's leading independent safety auditing firms.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 4, 2006 -- Regal Aviation recently earned the highest safety rating from Aviation Research Group (ARG/US of Cincinnati, OH) in its March 2006 survey. Silver, Gold and Platinum ratings are issued upon completion of a two-day, on-site audit study conducted by ARG/US. In addition, Wyvern (Palmyra, NJ) awarded its Wingman distinction to Regal for safety and excellent overall operation during its March audit.

Regal earned the distinction of its Platinum rating among over three thousand US charter operators measured in the study. Regal is one of only 46 charter firms to earn the top Platinum score. Regal is one of only two Platinum operators among 153 Texas based charter outfits. No other Wyvern Wingman members operate in Texas. Regal’s President, David MacDonald commented, “We’re in exclusive company, operating at the highest standards in the industry. It provides us with pride and gives our customers peace of mind.”

We’re in exclusive company, operating at the highest standards in the industry. It provides us with pride and gives our customers peace of mind.
As the highest level of ARG/US safety ratings, Platinum is awarded to those operators who meet the strict criteria for safe operation. Platinum operators earn their distinction by successfully passing either an ARG/US on-site safety audit, or a recent Department of Defense (DoD) Air Carrier Quality and Safety inspection. The ARG/US audit is conducted identically to a DoD audit by former DoD inspectors. The ARG/US study is a constructive, operational and system-oriented evaluation to help identify and correct potential deficiencies or safety issues. Regal far surpassed the criteria for this bi-annual audit. A Platinum rating was issued to Regal in 2004 as well.

Wyvern’s audit consists of an on-site safety survey and inspection, also known as a safety evaluation. Charter operators are measured against the Wyvern Operating Standards, which far exceed government regulatory oversight. The Wyvern Operating Standards are an enhanced set of safety measurement criterion.

Regal Aviation is a sales, service, maintenance and fixed-based operator located at Love Field Airport. Regal’s fleet of aircraft provides flights for its private jet membership subsidiary, Jet Concierge.
