Art Sale Announced by Art Helping Animals to Help Raise Funds for Homeless Dog in Need of Surgery

The Artists from Art Helping Animals have announced a special fundraising project to help raise the $2400.00 needed to pay for surgery for Penny, a homeless Dalmatian dog. The Art Sale, which will take place online at http://ArtByUs.com , will offer original artwork and prints and will run from April 1st - 14th 2006

(PRWEB) April 2, 2006 -- Penny is a homeless dog who has had a rough life. After being abandoned on a highway she was picked up by a family who had her for a short time before tragedy again struck and she fell from a roof or second story- the fall injuring her badly. She was taken in by Willing Hearts Dalmatian rescue and has been under their care for the last 6 months undergoing surgeries and treatments. Even in her greatest pain Penny will greet people with an enthusiastic wagging tail- a testament to her loving nature.

She was well on the road to recovery and eligibility for adoption when the screws in her front forepaw came loose causing her tremendous pain. She will be going back in for surgery to relieve the problem, a surgery estimated to cost $2400.00.

When they heard of Penny’s plight Art Helping Animals Artists set up a fund raiser to help. The Art Sale will be on Art By Us http://ArtByUs.com and each auction will have the words help Penny in the title. The sale will begin on April 1st and new artwork will be added for the next two weeks. Please search Art By Us for help Penny to see the artwork or go to the Art Helping Animals website http://arthelpinganimals.com for more information on how you can help.
