GISS Receives SBA 8(a) Certification, & Navy IDIQ Vehicle; Seeks Private Investment

Gladiator Information Security Systems (GISS), LLC has been certified to participate in the United States Government, Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business program

Falls Church, VA (PRWEB) April 2, 2006 -- Gladiator Information Security Systems (GISS), is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a participant in the SBA 8(a) business development program. Additionally, GISS has also been certified as a Small Disadvantaged Business.

GISS, a Falls Church based company focusing in Information Technology, training and Biometrics consultancy is to utilize the nine-year SBA 8(a) Business Development program to compete and win Federal Government contracts. The 8(a) program was developed to help small businesses grow by providing a set-aside vehicle to facilitate government contracts, access to capital, management and technical assistance. Companies graduate from the program, either by earning $25 million for three consecutive years, or by completing the nine-year program duration. GISS is to leverage the Mentor-Protégé aspect of the program to team with large prime contractor companies on government contracts.

GISS is currently seeking to raise Non-Foreign private investment to help develop its infrastructure by making available 8% of the company for investment.
