Romanian National Tourist Office in New York Signs New Contract for U.S. Public Relations with "Daniel Kennedy Communications Services" of NYC

New York, (PRWEB) April 4, 2006 -- The Romanian National Tourist Office (New York) has signed a new contract with Daniel Kennedy Communications Services (New York) for public relations and media relations services in the United States to promote and communicate leisure travel and cultural tourism opportunities for Americans in Romania.

This new agreement, which became effective April 1, 2006, was made public today by Mr. Simion Alb, the director of the Romanian National Tourist Office in the United States, and confirmed by Daniel Kennedy of Daniel Kennedy Communications Services. Billings were not disclosed.

Daniel Kennedy Communications Services was contracted as the first-ever PR counsel for Austrian Airlines in the USA. The award-winning Kennedy PR consultancy’s client list also includes the Austrian National Tourist Office, Lattelekom -- the national telecomm of the Republic of Latvia, the annual “Ars Electronica Festival” of computer-based art held annually in Linz, Austria, the Blue Danube Wine Company (US importers), the English designer and author Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill of London, the State Historical Society of Wisconsin, the Mid-Continent Railway Historical Museum in North Freedom, Wisconsin, and a consortium of eight New England outdoor, living history museums, including Mystic Seaport Museum. Prior to establishing his independent PR consultancy in 1992, Kennedy had served as the director of media relations for Simon & Schuster, when that company was the world’s largest publisher, as Vice President – Marketing Communications for Ruder Finn Public Relations and, prior to that, as a senior manager of corporate communications for JCPenney Company. Kennedy holds a B.A. Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an M.Ed. Degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
