Bollywood comes to Train Chartering

Train Chartering sourced and managed the unlimited use of a railway with a station and train. The director had a choice of carriages and locomotives at a location with spacious unit parking. The crew and actors were able to work without interruption or disturbances of any kind on this private railway in a quiet rural location.
The film is “Nenjil Jil Jil” (My Heart Beats), directed by Mr. Selva.
Simon Pielow from Train Chartering said: “This is our first Bollywood production so we were very excited to be asked to help with Nenjil Jil Jil. Everyone was clearly very satisfied with the train, station and railway provided.”
Manish Nair, actor and director of Cine Vision Entertainment, said: “I am absolutely delighted with cooperation and support we enjoyed from both Train Chartering and the railway managers at such short notice. The location was so easy for the director, and so beautiful, that he would have been happy to spend two weeks there!”
Train Chartering has a growing list of credits: ‘Manchild’, ‘The Passer By’ and ‘Derailed’ for the BBC; ‘If Only’ and ‘Green Street Hooligans’ for independent film productions; ‘Ultimate Force’ for ITV; and now “Nenjil Jil Jil” for Cine Vision Entertainment.
Most of these productions required a Train running on the main line railway; several needed filming time at platforms on a modern station, and a couple also required some filming time in a rail depot. Train Chartering road-hauled a carriage to a non-railway site on one occasion.
