New Management System Gives Owners Greater Control and Employees Greater Critical Thinking Skills

University Management instructor Randy McClure replicates good management skills in students and provides business owner/executives more confidence and control through EM^PROVETM.

University Management instructor Randy McClure has developed a performance improvement system for operations management focused on critical thinking. Rather than getting the right answers to questions, it focuses on getting the questions right.

“Critical thinking is under utilized as an element of productivity in managing work,” says Mr. McClure. “Managers are expected to be good critical thinkers using analysis and understanding trends, but too often it is not expected of workers--those who own the process. However, those closest to the work should be expected to look for ways to improve the way work is done. This only happens if workers think like good first-line managers in their own areas of responsibility.”

EM^PROVE™ offers business owners and upper management the opportunity to make better decisions (manage costs where they begin), improve performance (benchmark and replicate existing successes) and identify and eliminate waste to increase the speed of their operations.

EM^PROVE™ is a system based on proven concepts in Management and Organizational Development. By providing the learner with a series of results (answers), knowledge is gained through the process of building the equations (questions) to reach those results.
