Police detective, Matthew Barns has a reputation for finding missing people when all hope is gone. When one woman is found brutally raped and murdered, Matthew realizes that time is running out for all the women.

Charles Ambrose Elliot, a wealthy and powerful businessman has loved one woman his entire life, Matthew's fiancé Alexia Wellington. Devastated when she and her best friend Meg fall into the hands of this madman, he's determined to do whatever it takes to bring them home.

E. G. Parsons, an English major from Indiana is an award winning freelance writer, poet and artist. She began writing poems and short stories at the age of twelve after reading Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven. Her first book of poetry Out of Darkness was published in May of 2005. Life’s Voyage, a second poetry book has just been released and she has a historical romance, Mystery of Black Rock to be released summer of 2006. She’s a member of may writing groups and recently contributed to a book for charity titled In Katrina’s Wake.
