FASTLANE™ Payments Network Announces Advertising at POS Signs $2 Million Ad Deal with Charter Funding

FASTLANE™, a new payment network, announced today that Charter Funding, one of the nation’s fastest-growing mortgage banking operations, has signed a $2 million contract as the first advertiser linked to their FASTLANE product. FASTLANE’s deal with Charter’s La Jolla California office will generate $4.00 of revenue for each lead the mortgage company receives from the consumer.

Boulder, CO (PRWEB) April 6, 2006 -- FASTLANE™, a new payment network, announced today that Charter Funding, one of the nation’s fastest-growing mortgage banking operations, has signed a $2 million contract as the first advertiser linked to their FASTLANE product. FASTLANE’s deal with Charter’s La Jolla California office will generate $4.00 of revenue for each lead the mortgage company receives from the consumer.

“I never expected a mortgage company to be our first advertiser,” comments Carl Towner, CEO FASTLANE. “This just further proves that our advertising revenue model is a good one. If one of the largest mortgage companies sees the value of using point-of-sale (POS) as an advertising medium, then fast food chains and national retailers should be eager to sign up.”

FASTLANE will split advertising revenues with the merchant so the participating merchant will get $2.00 for every advertising lead generated at the POS through the FASTLANE product. “This advertising revenue will help merchants offset processing fees,” says Towner.

The advertisements will be presented to the consumer at the POS through an advertising message when they are using the terminal. “Click through” referrals will be forwarded to advertisers such as Charter. FASTLANE is looking to add new advertisers and will board them as soon as acquired.

“We are looking for other creative ways to attract and give incentives to merchants,” says Towner. “We are offering a unique opportunity to merchants to generate revenue through positive response to ads by fully utilizing POS equipment already on their counter top.”
