Noise Industries Demonstrate Latest Version of Factory Tools for Avid AVX

Noise Industries, developer of integrated effects technology for the broadcast and film industry, will be showcasing its Factory Tools visual effects package at NAB2006. This will include Organoptics FX, the new AVX plug-in library developed by digital compositor and artist Roger Bolton.

The latest release brings significant enhancements to rendering quality and font handling, thus opening up new opportunities to use Factory Tools for real-time titling. Noise Industries will also be discussing plans for future versions of Factory Tools, which will incorporate support for Macs powered by Intel processors, and upcoming versions of Avid editing products that will bring HD capabilities to the Mac platform.

Factory Tools
Factory Tools is the first software suite for creating, applying and sharing effects on the Avid AVX architecture on the Mac platform. Factory Tools dramatically expands the compositing and visual effects abilities of Avid editing systems by letting users create and integrate their own plug-ins in the native editing interface.

Organoptics FX
