Interaction Associates names two experts in HR transformation. Veterans in leadership development, learning, and strategic HR join the leading performance improvement company in key roles.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) April 11, 2006 -- The learning and performance improvement innovator, Interaction Associates (IA), today named two widely respected HR and leadership development experts to senior roles in the firm’s Cambridge office — both tasked with helping clients transform HR into a more strategic offering.

Andy Atkins Biography
Andy Atkins has an impressive track record in leadership and management development, human resources, and organization change management — among other areas.

Atkins comes to Interaction Associates from Bank of America, where he was a Senior Vice President, Leadership Development and Human Resources. There he provided talent planning, succession management, leadership development, high potential development, executive coaching, and organization change management for the Premier and Small Business Banking, Banc of America Investments, Fleet Merger Transition, and Wealth and Investment Management organizations.

Prior to the Bank of America, Atkins was Managing Director, Capability Development for FleetBoston Financial and Vice President, Organization Effectiveness for Genuity in Woburn. He has had senior human resources and organizational change consulting roles at Arthur D. Little, Fidelity Investments, and Mercer Management Consulting.

Atkins received a Master of Business Administration, Columbia University School of Business, where he received a Goldman Sachs Fellowship. He holds a Master of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a B.A. from Hofstra University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude. He has contributed to The Systems Thinker, Human Resource Professional, the Journal of International Compensation and Benefits, and other publications. He serves on the boards of the New England College of Finance and the Arlington Children’s Theater. Atkins is on the adjunct faculty in Babson College’s MBA program where he focuses on "leadership and change."

Jane Wells Biography
Jane Wells is a leading innovator in reshaping HR services to better support and advance business strategies.

Wells comes to Interaction Associates from Fidelity Investments, Boston, MA, where she was Human Resources Director, Development. In this role, she developed and implemented learning solutions to build the management, leadership, and professional capabilities of Fidelity’s Human Resources function. At Fidelity she was also Project Manager, Human Resources Technology Solutions, where she led business processes redesign and change managem`ent efforts to introduce companywide Human Resources systems. As Human Resources Director, she directed a large-scale assessment and redesign of hire and separation processes, dramatically improving the company’s ability to protect assets, proprietary information, and reputation when employees left the organization.
In her 22-year career as a Human Resources professional, Wells has also worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, Analog Devices, IBM, and the Human Resources Policy Institute.

She was the recipient of the Fidelity Investments Human Resources Leadership Award, 2002, Letter of Commendation, Fidelity Investments Chief Operating Officer, 1998, and Digital Equipment Human Resources PRIDE Achievement Award, 1993.

Wells received a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Boston University, specializing in Human Resources.
